I just hit $200k NW and it’s been 7 months since I made my post (link below) about hitting $100k NW in Dec ‘21.
I’m just mind-blown since it took me 2.5 years to get the first $100k and it’s snowballed from there. I’ve gone from $82.5k TC to $238k TC plus a $20k appreciation on a house I bought at the beginning of the year
Can’t really talk about finances with friends/family so this is the only place I can share milestones like this haha…we’ll see if I can hit $300k by EOY

Leave and get paid somewhere else. Hate to say it, but I have this conversation a lot. People that stick with a consulting firm for more than 3 years are getting hosed. They just don't keep up with salaries compared to experienced hires. I was Accenture out of school, then industry, Accenture again, and now EY. 11 years in
I don't think you need to be a SC before M in many part of ACN. I have seen people came in with a MBA were SC when they joined the firm or someone in CD&O is SC. Most of the time, I see people promote from C to M directly without being SC.
@op what level are you now? what city and how much is your salary?
OP - I would think COL adjustment would be like 10%
I was in Charlotte until July. My base as a C2 was 97.2 as part of Operations Consulting. Also experienced hire.
I'm 2 years into EY, got a 10% raise for senior manager promotion with a 5. Probably about what i would have gotten with a 5 and no promotion.
@ey4 what practice /speciality
I'm in tech, was in tech arch at Accenture.
Very low, I'm at 90 as a senior analyst, DC office
@ey4 what was your salary after the 10% bump?
I paid $1960 in an alleged full service building in Southpark. 1BR + Den.
185k
That's way too low. I made over 100k when I was an senior analyst.
128 in Dallas
That's absurd. I was at $135k as an M1 in Chicago.
Wait, seriously? I'm a manager in a city that my firm equates with Charlotte from a comp perspective, and I make double that.
Nope. I came in as an associate and am now a manager.
I'm an M2, been with Accenture since I finished school. Im at 125k in DC and received 0% raise this week because my salary was already "at level" 😩... I was hoping to be at 130k at least.
@A8 what DTE are you? I'm at $160k and got told the same thing...was hoping I was just barely over level.
@A7 - You are lucky. Im in MC aligned to FS
Fuck.
@pwc1 what do you make me what city and practice ?
