Will CSPO help in Product Manager role?
Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Leave and get paid somewhere else. Hate to say it, but I have this conversation a lot. People that stick with a consulting firm for more than 3 years are getting hosed. They just don't keep up with salaries compared to experienced hires. I was Accenture out of school, then industry, Accenture again, and now EY. 11 years in
I don't think you need to be a SC before M in many part of ACN. I have seen people came in with a MBA were SC when they joined the firm or someone in CD&O is SC. Most of the time, I see people promote from C to M directly without being SC.
Did you buy a ticket? Because it sounds like you're being taken for a ride
Charlotte at min $100k is what I have seen at EY for first year manager
Wondering if OP got promoted super early. That's the only way I could see someone having comp that low even at Accenture. Senior consultants in big 4 make $100-120k all day.
Yes Accenture out of school, about 4.5 years at the firm, top performer since the beginning (always Sig above rating other than my first year). I don't necessarily agree with saying being promoted early means lower salary especially if they claim it should be performance based. My primary complaint is that I see analyst starting at 75-80 in other cities and consultants starting higher than me. Been told it's due cost of living adjustments but it shouldn't be that drastic
I'm making more than that as a Consultant in the Chicago office. I think you can bargain for more as a Manager.
Isn't consultant range @accentuee 100-120k?
Have you been with accenture since finishing school? Cause that number wouldn't surprise me.
I know a Sr Mgr that left Accenture making 135k 3 years ago... And had been there the whole time. He was a top performer every year too
Charlotte is no longer cheap if you rent. 1 bdr in SE is $1500+
Not in Charlotte
You guys must all be experienced hires jumping around
Actually, it's now A-SA-C-SC-M-SM-Partner
A3 ah yea I m MC and we def don't have SC
I agree and that's why I am asking, trying to get to a range so I can go back to my CC with what I expect. Otherwise going to be looking to switch. What's yours?
160 for strategy
Go get an MBA ASAP
I'm in Detroit 1st year mgr 114K and I thought that was low
