Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

We sell by supporting BD work but there is no strict quote for 1st/2nd year SMs unless you're pushing for accelerated promotion to MD then obviously there is a sales target. There isnt really an emphasis on numbers, (e.g. Managed revenue/ sales per year) for senior managers at ACN in comparison to other firms. Managers and above are expected to support BD work but have no strict targets and I've seen some sr managers get by with just delivering 100% of the year.
Curious about this for ACN strategy, any input appreciated
The only sale that happens is you.
Leading large workstreams, supporting BD work, and internal thought leadership
Was thinking about jumping to Accenture, but curious about that as well as the regional model. Following.
At Accenture Strategy is pretty easy, SM1s don't have a sales target, you really don't have one until 3 onwards - when pushing for MD. If you want to accelerate MD track you obviously need to hit a minimum sales target
You don't have a sales target? What do you do if your not selling work?
Interesting approach. Not criticizing. Just trying to understand.
New SMs at EY are expected to do 1-3m in sales to "meet expectations", but that's with team assistance if needed.
Acn1, is that the case for all groups? Or just strategy?
Then who sells?
Only partners?
Interesting. Thanks!
Strategy SM here... Not true. SMs have sales responsibility, but not a min target to hit. Because we pride ourselves in delivery-based sales, SMs have a pretty high chargeability target and a responsibility to sell follow on work. This works well for other groups, but not so much for strategy, when engagements can be much shorter in duration.
Ultimately, SMs are in the "between" phase where they need to sell AND deliver to make bank and get a good rating. Hope that helps!
I came in at a junior level, so I can't speak to interviews... But you should expect to be an expert in something, bring potential client relationships, and/or be a selling machine to gain internal credibility. Coming in experienced is pretty hard at first.
Any insight on the actual interview and questions that are asked?
