What’s the best way to deal with a partner that prefers working solo? For context, this writer I work with conceptualizes by himself, emails the Account team, gives deep input, and makes decisions for us without consulting with me (his “partner”) most of the time. Has anyone just taken a break from work without anything lined up? Every offer I’ve gotten wants me to start in a month and with 2 weeks notice that leaves me only 2 weeks to recharge. HCOL audit SM looking to leave big 4. What should be my comp expectation?

During my screening call, I said my expected salary range is 85K-95K. Got the offer today for 90K and I want to counter 100K. Is that a bad look? Should I counter 95K or go for 100K?
