Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Cushman & Wakefield Interested in a Sales Associate position at Cushman & Wakefield. I have experience as a government analyst for 7 years but nothing related to commercial real estate. I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?

What’s the criteria where you work? Your manager should be able to provide you with a list of skills you need to move up. If they don’t think you’ve met that, then it’s their job to tell you and and get you the experience you need.
First step— tell your manager you want to get to the next level and ask them what the roadmap to get there looks like. They should absolutely be able to answer that.
First, read the job description of the AE level, and make sure your work product from the last 6 months has met those standards. Have you worked on/mastered 80-95% of the responsibilities in the job description?
Next, think critically about any constructive feedback you received at your last review. How are you addressing any feedback you received - have you made adjustments to your work/work style?
If you’re happy with how you’ve answered these two questions, I say go for it!
Trust yourself. You know more than you think.
