Makes sense if you have no one to leave it behind to. Unless you want to donate to a cause or be a blessing to someone in your circle who could use it.
We are married/no kids. My partner already retired and I’m planning to retire at age 55. We’ve done well, saved, invested and will have a comfortable $ amount plus cushion to live out our lives, but I definitely plan to “die broke”.
My own philosophy is: Why exchange years of my life working for money I don’t need.
I’m spending every dime.
