What were some challenges y’all faced this week?

I’ll start. Trying to get non local resources utilized. National Leadership thinks this is the answer to our problems but local leadership is hesitant.

When a consolidated unitary group acquires a TX Corp, does TX follow Sec. 382 and Sec. 383 and apply a limitation on the utilization of the acquired entity's TX R&D credits following the acquisition?

Joined Deloitte recently. PDM model.
Couple days ago found out that PTO not counted towards utilization.
I need to go to my home country and get married this December.
I don’t think I can bill more than 40 hours.
So people do not take vacation/PTO in PDM model? Is changing job the only option or there is some other way. Please advice.

What metrics do other firms use to measure performance of junior staff (for bonuses/promotion) -- client utilization, training completion, project performance, on time T&E reporting, etc.?
