Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?

Currently in a project finance and looking to breaking into tech/fintech. Any advice on how to pivot?

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I am generally a motivated, high performing person, but I al starting to slip up and care less, b/c my work is not satisfying to me. I just cleared all rounds with Acko General Insurance for the position of Product Designer.
They asked for salary slip and offer letter to decide on the numbers. But my current pay scale isn't as per the industry standards and they are asking me to move to bangalore. If they give me a hike based on my current salary it would be next to impossible to move to bangalore. How do I put forward my points to them to try and convince them to pay me as per industry standards?
