What are the pros and cons of outsourced reps? I've heard rumors that our company will start outsourcing this summer.

The cons are fewer jobs that pay well/fairly. Once a company begins outsourcing, they don't have a need for American workers anymore because they realize how bad fair wages are for the bottom line. It may sound harsh, but I believe that it's true.

Not gonna lie, that's one of my fears...

pros: If you deal with a consulting firm, they have a lot of different folks working for them that cover a wide range of skills you would not realistically find in a single person. Cons:Don't expect them to know your business in general inside and out like someone working for you would, especially if they don't spend a ton of time each week/month with you.

Outsourced reps gave us character development at my previous job. They would always stay in customers' accounts. We would have to call our sales help desk to boot them out, lol.

To the author, someone has to train them and then clean up their mess until they figure it out. By then you’ll be unemployed

They eventually take over the jobs in the company for very little pay.

Hello all! I am looking for a job in finance/investments, but I’m having trouble attracting attention from employers. I have a finance degree from UGA, but all of my experience (3.5 years) is in sales (tech and real estate), so no relevant internships unfortunately. Any advice on how to market myself better and where I should be looking would be greatly appreciated!

If you notice that a junior associate on your team has over-billed, how would you handle it? I don’t want to get them in trouble, but noticed that they billed extremely high numbers even though I was doing all they work on the deal and they completely disappeared other than for client conference calls. Certain things that they billed for on the final invoice, I alone handled and never asked them to do. Appreciate any advice. I’m a mid-level in case it helps for context.
