Tesla Model Y. Absolutely incredible vehicle.
Lexus LX570. Plenty of seats and a very nice ride. I couldn’t be happier with mine!
Consider a used Model X, if you have a primary car already; model Y is also a solid option
Tesla Model Y, S, X or 3 in that order.
- Y is extremely popular as their newest car and is great value
- S is their high end sedan if price isn’t the issue
- X is their largest family car but personally I like the Y’s crossover feel
- 3 basic package but still great car
As an EV your performance is top notch and maintenance is super low - all you have to do is keep wiper fluid up.
As EVs become increasingly adopted over next 5 years (currently 3-4% and 2025 has some forecasts at 40%+ of new car sales) traditional combustion engines will depreciate at a faster rate.
Additionally Tesla is leading the self driving data race. Yes it could come this year or in a few years but the point is, when it’s ready, Tesla will likely be the first.
4 runner
Porsche Macan or Cayenne. Stellar build quality, fun to drive and no pretension (as it’s an suv). Drive any Porsche and then you’ll look at other vehicles differently.
Jeep Wrangler
Get a higher trim Honda Accord. Simple, some features, a bit sporty (for casual everyday driver) and reliable.
Or get an Acura TLX if you want to get a little more luxury and sport.
Big variations depending on what tier and budget you are looking at. Maybe a Model S?
VW Atlas look really nice.
Lamborghini Urus
Tesla M3 - long distance
Ford Explorer is a great family car. And your purchase would support fairly paid unionized auto workers!
Rising Star
Audi Q7. Big enough for kids and their friends. High quality but not flashy and doesn’t scream mid life crisis. Ubiquitous but you don’t care about that, do ya?
Bugatti 16C Galibier

I suppose I should acknowledge that this one would be a stretch for me to afford.
Rising Star
Get a Benz. Cant go wrong there.

Wanna buy my car?
If having room matters: Suburbans, Lincoln’s and Range Rovers (Corden’s) are fantastic.
We have an Audi S7 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both are great.
We love our Volkswagen Toureg but they don’t sell it in the U.S. anymore. Audi Q7 has the same frame.
“Don’t care what it costs” assuming you are quite financially strong and gas prices are not a concern, the suburban is a great vehicle!
