None, if you’re in the financial industry or tech you should feel blessed to live in htx. You get paid Silicon Valley/ NYC salaries in a 200% cheaper city with no state income tax.
I've essentially just done clerical
Atlanta
Agree
If you can’t find clerical work in Houston, moving won’t help. Fix your resume and application approach
I have gotten interviews. Unfortunately people don't read resumes and still offer interviews
Depends on the specific cities you’re targeting and what your lifestyle is like. For the former if you gave some candidate cities maybe some people could chime in. For the latter, that’s gotta be up to you to figure out
I come from the ghetto so my expectations aren't high but I don't want to live around homeless people
First I’ll say if you don’t have a job somewhere else don’t even try it.
2ndly Moved from Atl to Houston. More coprate jobs in atl for sure. But lifestyle in Houston and affordability much better.
This will be me soon! It’s so expensive in ATL right now! Plus, I never liked the city too much
Comparable = similar cost of living
Plus influx of people from larger cities, and post pandemic inflation has increased cost of living almost everywhere
Similar - Dallas, Atlanta
Cheaper - Kansas City, San Antonio
Kansas City sucks, stay away or you’ll end up working in some mid rise office building in Overland Park.

OP what do you do? wym you can't find a job? are you a disembodied head floating in liquid?
I worked in mortgage before and of course I am trying to translate that into a different type of position but I am getting beaten by others with actual experience in those areas. I've applied to FIS before and I only get my application rejected. I looked again but I do not see openings at my level.
