Interviewing for a small tech start-up and their Glassdoor reviews are... not good. How can I gracefully bring that up in the next round of interviews? Salary would be almost double my current comp
So I received an offer that is +45k putting my total salary at 170 as a senior and I tried counter offering but my partner said to me that money will always be there but that I can’t buy connections and growth. I don’t understand the mindset behind this? Isn’t more money today worth more than more money tomorrow?
ACN folks - it seems comp is out!
How do firms think about bonus in years women have maternity leave? Do they make you “whole”? Or do they keep averaging lower revenue delivery into your comp, bonuses and review?
I’ve been through 2 audit busy seasons at EY and I’m looking to make the jump into advisory. A recruiter pitched Siegfried Group to me today. Said the compensation was great (base in 80s/90s plus 45-60% bonus and 10k signing bonus. Anybody know anything about this company or its advisory practice?

Looking to resign in about a month. Really need a mental break from the corporate world. I’ve amassed about 2-3 years worth of salary in my investments to hold me through for however long. How bad is it if I took 6-18 months off to pursue hobbies and possible other career paths (content creation/vlogging) while being unemployed before applying to another job in industry? TLDR; I’m about to quit, how bad does a 6-18 month employment gap look when looking to apply again to the workforce?
Anybody have any insight on Cerberus? Culture, comp wise or other big takeaways? How is it looked at compared to the big MF’s?

This is my life. I haven’t stepped back (partly because I don’t want to lose the autonomy and independence making a good salary gives me) but man I feel the rub so much more than my husband does. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/26/upshot/women-long-hours-greedy-professions.html
Quoted $100-120K, 10% bonus, no RSU for Sales Strategy & Ops at Salesforce (4.5 YOE). Super lowball right?
What’s your price to quit right now expressed as a percentage of your total comp? Curious how this differs across firms.
Has anyone had offers from multiple consulting firms? Was there any major deciding factor besides compensation? Having a difficult time deciding which is the best move for me. Any advice would help. Thanks.
How do you deal with a narcissistic employee? Does anybody have any experience? I read the materials, the little that his available, bottom line there is not much counseling that can be done, unless the narcissist wants to be counseled and acknowledges shortcoming. However, this flys in the face of narcissistic behavior. What are your experiences?
There are days I can’t wrap my head around things in our schools system. Our county will more than likely be shut down this week due to drastic increase in covid cases. We will know today. Yesterday, teachers got a harsh lecture that we were the cause that Covid was spreading in the schools (it wasn’t nice), but now sports can play when our county is shut down. I can’t make this stuff up. Our society would never survive a true plague.
Can someone help me understand: what are client libraries and code in context of GCP and APIs. I need a basic 101 ‘tell me like I’m 5” explanation please

Anyone else finding it very difficult to get any enjoyment out of account management these days? Any coping tips? I feel like being an account person is especially difficult in the COVID era since so much of what we do is manage communications, ensure the team is set up well etc. None of this feels particularly fun alone staring into the void of Zoom all day ... but the same pressure is still there. I feel like I spend every week counting down to the weekend which kinda sucks.
