What has been the weirdest guarantee that you have been told by a potential employee or heard from a coworker? I was told by a friend that they receive a free fruit basket once a year after asking for it from an employer (in exchange for thousands less in comp…). Any other interesting things that you have heard?

Two pending job offers as a Power Platform Developer, 1YOE in the specific technology, 2 total.

Role 1.
-95k base, no bonus, better benefits.
-Booz Allen Hamilton
-Senior Consultant.
-Similar position to now, better progression.

Role 2.
-95k base, 16% bonus, good benefits.
-National grocery chain.
-Slightly different role: more admin / training others / governance / custom coding connectors, etc.

Cleared the technical round.I have received an email to submit the docs. But none were called me regarding the salary discussion. Usually how many days it will take to get the feedback

I just got promoted at A.con level and when my manager asked me salary expectations I told very less pay wherein as per industry standards it is quite high. Would I get salary as per industry standards or as what I expected?

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

I’ve recently started work at a very young tech startup. Coming from a big law background, this was a huge change of pace/environment. I’m having a lot of trouble getting used to how unstructured the startup is. It feels like hire ups give a set of instructions then talk as if they don’t remember, or then decided rules A, B, C and D applies without being clear this was the case. 1. Local Bank >> Business Change management role (COO org) >> 152k Base + 30k bonus(to be paid in March 2023) + challenging work culture + 3 months NP

2. Global Bank >> BA + PM role (CTO org) >> 160k Base + 20k bonus( to be paid in Mar 2023) + Regular work culture + 2 months NP

I got the offer and it’s exactly the same base/bonus as my current role. (Though they’ll also give me so stock options in the private company).

Hello! Looking at an opportunity with established startup in UK that's just been acquired by a large co. I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). I'm not sure how to reply to them because I have a feeling that my requirement may be out of their range and while I don't want to undercut my value, I also don't want to be cut out of the process because it's an interesting co.
