The right opportunity and a favorable company culture
And I think that's what leads to utter disappointment because putting aside personal accomplishment which I am not denying matters a lot, employees do look up to their higher officials to recognize their efforts and dedication
In my early years, myself.
I was convinced I was ready for a promotion and being held back by my manager. Turns out I wasn't listening to what he was saying, I was too stubborn and proud. It took me some time to understand this.
Once I cracked that, nothing has held me back.
I think I have little interest in career goals because other things in life fulfill me. I’m still a hustler but there’s a jog instead of a run these days. Also, it’s taken me a long time to figure out what I want to do since plan A wasn’t a plan anymore.
