Product Manager in SLC average? Well established tech company

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but here it goes. In your experience, how much does a PRODUCT owner makes in bay area / San Diego in a medical device company? I got hired as a business analyst but now doing full product owner role, I actually like it and fixing my resume for any internal move or external.

I got low balled when I got here, do not want to repeat same experience

Hi everyone! First time using this app. I always wondered, how are other IT help desk jobs? I’ll share how mine is.
I work at an MSP (Managed Service Provider) meaning we are the IT services for many other companies. It’s busy all the time and I get to experience all different types of apps, OSes, and almost every aspect of IT in this way. I make around 50k which is alright but its hectic as there’s too many tickets and not enough personnel. I heard this is common but I’m not sure.

Going to Tahoe to ski in Feb. I have the option of a 1.5 layover in PHX or 3.5 hours in AUS.

Is 1.5 hours enough in PHX for bags to transfer? I really don’t want my ski equipment to miss the transfer but 3.5 hours seems overkill. My layovers will both be around 5pm local time if that matters.

How much should an L2 engineer with over 4 years of experience working for an MSP be making in NY metropolitan area? I am jack of all trades working on ESXi, Windows Servers, firewall, switches. I do have a couple of CompTIA certs. I am making somewhere around 90k and I feel I am underpaid. In the last four years I haven’t really went out to interview and get offers as I kind of like my current job. However, I feel as I am leaving money on the table, which I shouldn’t be.

I am meeting my mom for the first time after 3 years post pandemic and going to pick her up from SFO airport. Her flight lands around 6 am PST. This is my first time where I will be driving from Sunnyvale to SFO airport and back (30 miles each) and want to avoid FasTrak/Express lanes as I don't want to pay so much money. 1. Does the Google maps 'Avoid tolls' option work in this case? 2. Any tips/tricks on driving such long distances? 3. What documents should I carry with me?

Technically, if you are rich enough, isn’t self-insurance the best option? Insurance companies have to make money by taking in more in premiums than paying out in claims, so on average the customer is losing money and has a negative (albeit stable) NPV on their insurance money. But if you had enough money to tolerate the risk of a unexpectedly high expense, wouldn’t it be better to not pay for the insurance?

Random question - how do you ensure the customers your service delivery partners manage are receiving a great experience?

I recently took up a Customer Success Manger role at a engineering software company. Previously I was a Project Manager at the same company but wanted to move out of my engineering services role. I primarily took this role hoping to get exposure to providing SaaS services as company is transitioning at software cloud. My long term goal is to move into tech as my current customers are mostly in O&G. Is customer success a good entry point go get into one for the big tech companies?
