I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Wipro is sinking ship so think twicely before joining.
A lateral hire will have 45 days to grab any project or billable opportunity ,if the person is not billable by then, he will be going to Extended Bench Leave policy in which LOP starts and have only 90 days of period to search for billable opportunity, if he is not billable by then he will terminated. This policy do not exists for freshers as per my knowledge. But for laterals this policy is applicable and please grab any billable opportunity within 45 days.If you didn't get any calls from any projects , please make sure to Call WMG team and ask them to give project leads to you.THIS IS A MUST.

Hr are forcing resources to get billable else they will initiate the eblp .. hearing this frequently..

If you are experienced then you will have 90days to find a project then you will be terminated.
There were 4 relevant openings in total 90days, Out of which 1 filled before they shortlist my profile and have interview. 1 profile client needed at least 4 YOE in that skill. 2 openings were opened internally for name sake When I got in touch with them as why my profile is not shortlisted and it's reason they told they already have hired external candidate to fill those positions.
Do we need to report office if you are resigned and on bench?

Means they will not give us any salary in 90 days and if we do not get any project then can they give us any compensation or notice period for termination or direct they fired us with giving any compensation or notice period right
They have very wired policy of LOP after 45 days on bench and surprisingly thry do not much project to allocate in this time duration to get good role and again mentioning here about desired role.
So beware guys from Wipro else can only regret.

Dont worry guys ! i have completed 2.3years in wipro ! situation is not worst ! at the end if you have skills you will get the project for sure
Since you are still in Wipro, could you please tell me about bench policy for lateral hires?
