I would love to find a 100% remote role as a mid level EA at a company with an awesome work culture. I think I’m ready to be challenged again, I find myself bored in my current role… I’m open to any industry but would love to get into tech. Hi everyone, I had a major surgery and am looking to find a remote position involving anything that isn’t 100% commission based or cold calling/agent positions. Looking to make $25-35 an hour, and have had long term positions such as Clinical Secretary & Receptionist/Administrator, Accounts Payable Clerk, Team Lead, and Sales Associate. Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? Looking to get a bit of insight on breaking into tech working as an executive assistant after working for BigLaw for 20+ years.

I've been applying to tech companies for executive assistant positions - in particular, remote work positions - and I have yet to get a nibble.

I'm extremely tech savvy and have a lot of initiative but I am afraid that these companies are put off by how long I've been working assuming that I am a middle-aged woman that is not able to go with the flow.
