Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

Make sure that your resume has projects you've worked on or helped drive. When you say tech savvy talk about the kind of tech even if it's mastery at DocuSign etc. I look for understanding of chat vehicles (slack, teams, etc) while mastery at calendars and expenses is a necessity, it should not be the place of prominence of your descriptor. You need to show momentum and exec partner level kind of work and interfacing. Focus on things that are modern if you come from an older market (i.e. don't mention a telephone or copier...they have em but barely use them)
Finally be yourself butake sure your casual in your presentation. Working in a traditional office may default you to formal and stuffy. Relax your way, let your personal style shine and good luck
This is good know. On my resume, making travel arrangements, expense processing, and calendar management at the end and tech skills at the top. I'll move those items above tech and then after tech talk projects I have managed.
Set up some informational interviews with a few EA’s who are already in tech (or anyone who has access to the EA’s.) Then ask about what they do that is different from what you do. You’re probably thinking “it’s the same- I’ve read the job description” and you would be right, but a) you’ll likely learn the jargon that’s used b) you’ll likely get a referral and c) whenever someone says in an interview “you don’t have tech experience…” you can counter with “no, but in talking with EA’s at [tech company], I realize that your needs are [skills] and it makes you a stronger candidate.
Most tech companies have a legal and compliance push they find difficult to navigate as they grow. Focus on that as one of the five facets you specialize in. Others being tech skills as SM1 suggests above, core skills of high EQ, planning, working with internal and external stakeholders and building relationships with your executive and company's stakeholders and partners
I appreciate this advice. It's been 20 years since I've out there and this will be helpful.
Or is it that they assume I am going to ask for a higher salary because of my experience? I currently make 88K and I might consider taking a 5K cut in salary if it's a remote position.
I'm a single, young 46 year old who is creative and has mad tech skills and a grown child and no plans to have anymore. I'd like to think I'm a good catch.
Any insight from anyone currently working as an EA in tech or has lateral moved mid-career would be appreciated. Thanks.
Where are you located because your salary isn't high at all in my opinion.
