What is everyone’s opinion about the capability of someone with advisory background in cyber security (big 4) breaking into PE?

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021. Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Lets us discuss why Indian companies expects/forces/ us to work more than 9 hours but in timesheet we have to fill 8.
Managers schedule meeting after office hours and expects us to be available always.

Sorry to say this but I have seen only Indians who work extra hours. What's even funny is that the upper management laugh at foreigners who work exactly 8hours.

I feel left out in my firm. How do I make 'friends' with my colleagues? I've been here for a year. I am naturally not a very out going person, was never 'cool' and I struggle to speak in group situations / make engaging conversation with higher ups. I am a woman who has been working as a tech PE investor for 8 months now, and have been feeling extremely discouraged by my experiences in this sector so far.
