What is one job in law enforcement that you would never work? For me, it’s being a correctional officer.

In this vein of saying that it could never be in the justice sector, I think that what it could not be is to be a police captain, to be responsible for what other police officers do, and at the same time not be able to repress them directly thanks to the police union It must be a frustrating job full of problems and stress, it's not for me.

I am a police officer and I feel that I could never be a prosecutor, I know that it is part of the small battle that we have between us but I am sure that it is something that is not for me, I am more to comply with the laws that defend guilty because it is their right.

I would never be a lawyer, as a lawyer, I feel that the person is destined to lose their soul because you have to defend or help people who want to do harm because yes, then it seems to me that I cannot stop being a good person to help a wrong person for money.

Despite being a detective, I would never like to work in internal affairs, I am one of the few left who feel that the police are a family, so it is very difficult for me to admit that a relative did something wrong. I am sure that they are very capable to do something bad therefore I would not be an objective person.

I could never do a job in prison like you say because I am a lawyer and I have seen heinous acts that are committed in those prisons and I feel that the lack of humanity is something sick.

I am a prosecutor and I belong to the public prosecutor's office, I don't think I could be a police detective, it is quite complex work that requires a lot of time and does not always provide results. I feel that insecurity keeps me from being a detective.

I would never work as a detective because I don't have the patience for it.

A desk job. They seem boring, so why would I want to sit in a desk all day? I'd rather be outside in the field.

I would be terrified of being a detective and being asked to examine active crime scenes. I have a fear of blood and dead bodies, I've also heard awful stories from detective friends and nope sir!

I have never wanted to be a police officer because it seems very dangerous and I don't think I would be able to handle the stress of the job.

One job in law enforcement that I would never work is being a detective. I do not think I would be able to handle the stress of investigating crimes and trying to solve them.

I love working in corrections. I could never be a prosecutor

Does anyone here live near East 83rd St and 3rd Ave? I'm interested in an apartment there but I noticed a huge construction site at the corner there. The agent said the construction there is now mostly just facade work on the top so it's not noisy any more, but I don't 100% buy that. If anyone lives in that area, can you please tell me if you can still hear any construction noise from inside your apartment when you close your windows at all? Thanks!

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. It was such a beautiful relationship but ultimately he just didn’t love me. I love him so much. My mind knows that I deserve reciprocal love and I’m worthy, but I feel physically ill. My body hurts, my stomach is in knots, my head hurts. How is it that I have to mend a broken heart but also meet my billable hours lmao
