Does anyone here live near East 83rd St and 3rd Ave? I'm interested in an apartment there but I noticed a huge construction site at the corner there. The agent said the construction there is now mostly just facade work on the top so it's not noisy any more, but I don't 100% buy that. If anyone lives in that area, can you please tell me if you can still hear any construction noise from inside your apartment when you close your windows at all? Thanks!

Getting over heartbreak and having a full time job is torture lol. My boyfriend and I just broke up after almost a year of being together. With the holidays fast approaching, I can't help but wonder why I've pigeonholed myself into a career path that keeps me away from family at crazy hours and days. I miss birthdays, holidays; you name it. Three years in, I can see why divorce rates are so damned high.

I can't tolerate disrespect for law enforcement. Some cops are bad, most aren't. So whether it is a friend, a relative, or even my boss, I won't just sit by if they try to convince others that police departments should be dismantled. It's unthinkable
