Just because they hired me that doesn't mean that they don't have to think about anything related to social media anymore. I still need to coordinate with them to set and meet goals
I agree completely. I have clients get annoyed when there is a delay because I'm stuck waiting on information from them.
The important thing about the work and the time it takes to manage the networks is that goes with clients and with those agencies that make the same social media manager manage more than 4 different profiles.
Well, the first thing would be to understand that we charge for what we know, not for what clients think we know or do, that is, what we do is greatly overestimated and many clients tend to grate even rudely.
That the management of social networks is as important as the physical image of the company, today you can work in a garage but if you have a correct online image, your brand will be greatly enhanced
That a product on social networks cannot be made under the criteria of the owner of the company, if not under a well-founded marketing study and criteria to create an adequate image that helps to sell the brand in the best way.
That no matter what he says about marketing, he doesn't know, that we know about marketing and that's why they hire us, so it's better to keep quiet.
Their unrealistic goals can't be met just because they want them to happen. Everything takes time, planning, and strategy.
Hiring a manager isn't some magical solution that will suddenly make people love your business and get you thousands of followers.
The biggest one is a realistic timeline. Social media is slow growth. It's important to build that presence over time, but it's not suddenly going to make you rich the first month.
