The best way is to simply let her know you’d like some time with her for advice / guidance or whatever. I have an art supe who did this recently, and now books time with me every couple of months.
I do try to schedule skip level meetings with folks on my own, but having them reach out tells me they are ambitious and keeps them more “on my radar.”
I love investing my time and effort in creatives who want to grow. Yes, I’m busy. But I’m never too busy for that part of my job. I think your ECD will be delighted to spend time with you.
So you’re trying to get time with an ECD somewhere else? Within the same holdco? I have to believe you have SOMEONE in common?

Just ask! Be proactive, provide time slots or schedule it with their assistant. And come to the mtg prepared with questions/purpose.
Don’t be offended if it moves a few times.
And try not to use the time to complain. Chances are they already know the problems that need fixing. So make it more about learning, advice.
Some of my favorite questions to ask leaders as a younger creative were:
If you were in my shoes, in this era of advertising what are things you would be doing to get ahead?
What are the problems keeping you up at night that I could potentially help solve?
What are your biggest goals for our team over the next year? And where do you think we need to improve?
Are there any projects or problems you need extra thinking on that I can help with spearheading? Or could take a crack at thinking on?
Get in trouble. When they call you into their office, bring your coffee
Serious answer. Just ask. We’re taxpayers with dysfunctional families just like you. You don’t need some special technique. You don’t have to prove you’re worthy.
The worst anyone could say is no. Well, I guess they could say way worse things than that but then you’d know that talking to them further wouldn’t be a good time anyway, so you still come out ahead.

Do you work for them now?
If so, just ask (explaining what you’re looking for) and be prepared for the schedule to shift.
If you don’t work for them, compliment them (with specifics about why you want advice from them). Then ask.
“Hey ECD, want to get caffeinated and talk about AI?”
