What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA
Hi all, I just finished my recruiter phone interview today for “Risk Prevention Escalations Specialist, Global Risk Operations” role and it went well. I have an interview on Friday with the hiring manager. Does anyone know what kind of questions they’ll be asking? I only have 2 days to prep..

Mck hiring process - application submission (CV cover letter etc.), 2 virtual problem solving games, 4 case interviews (2 with associates and 2 with partners)
Perks - 12% pension contribution, private dental/medical, free gym & PT, free breakfast lunch and deliveroo dinners, Ubers home if you’re working past 9pm, unlimited unpaid leave after 12 months of tenure
I think in terms of way of working and interview processes, it’s very similar no matter where you apply in EU. Operating model is also the same
The things that chance are culture, work life balance and compensation. UK is no bright shining beacon here
Hiring process: standard testing + 2 rounds of case interviews
Benefits: European lifestyle, if you are looking for the best salary to quality of life ratio the best offices are in the north of Europe (Switzerland + Amsterdam + Nordics)
Benefits: A horrible salary with a lot of taxes (about half the salary as in the US)
Hiring process: getting rejected because your GPA in Elementary school wasn’t 4.0
Consulting in Europe in general is hell in my opinion.
For McKinsey & co the focus on high school diplomas is correct but for most other jobs I find that the focus on a good prestigious school is much higher in the US than in Germany. A few years into the job, in Germany nobody cares anymore where your degree is from. I haven’t found this to be true in the US. With an unknown degree (European) it’s more difficult to find a job in the US despite 10+ years of experience
Not sure what exactly you’re looking to find out - our recruiting processes are pretty standard across all our offices globally with some small local variations.

Europe isn't a country. Which country?
K1 do you work in EU?
We hire all year round, definitely for experienced hires. Hiring processes consists of 2-3 rounds with 2 interviews each.
I partly disagree with the benefit/salary challenges on this post. Yes it is definitely lower than in the US, but so is your cost of living and at least you have quasi free health insurance, pensions, and social security. Main benefit is that salaries and benefits are in top bracket of what you will be able to get in any European based company
