For 8+ in Java Background and that too with clouds, minimum should be 40 LPA and for max no limit. Believe me, few of whomever I know with similar experience already getting 40+ LPA.
Why I can tell you this is because I am also a java developer with same tech. expertise with less year of exp.

Big product companies can pay upto 60-70 lpa if you are great in system design and architecture. But such companies also have very high requirements so you have to be very good in medium to hard level DSA questions.

I'm a SWE from Italy. Love my country but salary and taxes here are outrageous. Got 2yrs experience in fullstack and data science, 2masters, a peer reviewed paper and outperform all my peers for 24k€ a year.
I'm thinkin about landing a remote SWE job (leetcoding and building a portfolio this summer).
Have you got some advice? Is it possible to work for US remotely without visa? What other countries pay well? Is it possible to land a 100k$+ with this kind of experience and working from Italy?

I have total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
