What is the salary progression at MBB and Tier 2s? I was told S& salary for first year senior associate is 168k and second year senior associate is 171k. And another post here said BCG first year is 165k, second year 170k. Wtf?

I have received an email from HR that you have been selected at citi and asking to send few documents like id, salary slip,few other forms that need to filled and scanned. It does not have compensation offered in any of the attached document. Can you help when they will release compensation offered part? What will be the further process? Will they call me and discuss? While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects). I’m just having second thoughts as exit opportunities aren’t as prevalent as I thought, the pay/benefits don’t match industry/risk of joint a startup, and I’m not getting the network of a Big4 or MBB
