I worked in the same org for 5.5years and switched in march 2022. I was not allocated a project for 3 months hence changed the org and joined new in July 2022. what firms fall under tier 2 consulting? and i’m assuming this set “comes after” big 4?

Just got a signed offer and it is on the upper end of the salary range that was given. Unfortunately it would be a paycut but I really like the job and the team. Do I counter in an email or do I call HR with my list of arguments and why I would like a higher base salary?
