The Current scenario of high attrition rates and job shift by taking multiple offers has been caused by a resource crunch in the market. However I have a feeling that this particular scenario of shifting jobs by way of multiple offers and getting high salary is creating a bubble in the market which will burst causing a ripple effect of lay offs due to cost saving efforts by organisations in the near future. In a scenario like this how can one change the job by avoiding the bubble?

Anyone knows what’s the base and bonus for a M2 in strategy and transaction - valuation? Trying to negotiate an offer next week. Thanks!

Hi, just got an offer from A&M as D (Performance Improvement). The base from Glassdoor is accurate (US as a benchmark). Bonus is much higher than my current. Anyway the base seems very low compared to S& SA in US.
1) is it true that the base is that low compared to junior-mid level at S&?
2) i am based in Asia, any different rate compared to other region at A&M?
3) the TC can be 3x that what I can get currently, but i can make partner in few years at PwC. Do you think A&M should be considered?

I left in 2013 after five years in. I have since done everything from selling motorcycles, getting a food prep certificate, doing discovery work, starting a few companies, and getting married to a woman who knew better than to speak to the person I was in my big law days. Could not have made a better decision, but wouldn’t mind that paycheck for a few more months.

Have any of you gone from Advertising to PR or vice versa? I’m early in my career, fighting like hell for full time with a good place. I love working in advertising but also like some of the work these PR firms do. 👉Just ask for it. Really, you would be surprised. Might be easier to switch to a new company and ask. I did that 3 years into my career.

And 🛑 wasting your time at a company that under-values you severely. Sometimes switching companies every 2 years or so will allow you to keep raising the bar for yourself.
