Also, a robust network partners are part of the reason we've passed Azure. Take it from Apple: the winning product isn't the always the best product, it's the product with the best ecosystem. Our network of consulting and solution provider competency partners dramatically expand the value of AWS to our customers just like the massive number of app developers in Apple's ecosystem make the iPhone more valuable to consumers.

AWS is slowly building out tools and services that compete directly with what their partners offer (this has ramped up over the last couple years) and they're expanding their AWS Proserv capability with aggressive hiring as far as I can tell
This is interesting, I'm in talks with AWS Pro Serv for a principal architect role in fed civ segment. So they are definitely selling pro serve to gov clients.
