LEK not having a good week
$75 for dinner if working in the office past 8pm
$75 for an "individual meal" if traveling, up to $110/day
$200/person for "occasional team celebrations"
M1 what? News to me, seems strange as well, we are at the client site in our home city and expense 3 meals a day. There is no way I have time to cook, I need to buy, so not being able to expense would be madness.
No explicit restrictions on expense amounts (receipts required only for $100+ charges). Very lax expenses while traveling. In home office, Uber after 8pm/dinner after 7pm. Business class for travel >90 min.
Wow business class for travel >90 min? As part of budget cutting, even our partners fly economy now
No wonder bcg is having to fire all these consultants to keep up with their expense policy

Lol why would you need more than an UberX to go home
More importantly I work in my 30 min drive home, so an exec or lux enables me to do that.
Have you worked in the back of an S class? Almost as good as a desk.
A&M - Uber if late hours. Glad to see some firms offering more than that.
While traveling relatively lax outside restructuring. Think $75/meal.

We can expense a meal (I think it's up to $25? not sure) if we work 11+ hours in a day.
We can also expense transport for "after hours safety" if we have to be at work late. Exact time of day not defined.

Thanks for the correction
We get 28€ for the whole day. Don't come to Europe
Germany, but that's for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Genuine question - are you able to do this daily then when working past 8?
Expense policy is quite strict and thrifty.
Almost never able to expense a meal unless you’re meeting with a client or it’s a team dinner.
You can expense the Uber home if working late - I think it’s past 8pm but it depends on the office and country. Uber rides are also covered for corporate events or off-site meetings.
When traveling across Europe we get around 40 euros/day (depends on location) and you can’t expense food or coffee on top of that.
Business class only for 4hr+ flights - so almost never allowed.
You need a receipt for absolutely everything otherwise it won’t get approved.

When traveling I think it’s $75 dollars per person per meal. Might be less, either way, never hit any amount of that.
Beyond that, just buy whatever flight/hotel is reasonable (aim for direct flights over cost, hotel is usually just chosen by someone above me for the project, team).
I’ve never gone overboard but I’ve also never been conservative and it’s all been fine
