What is your firm’s policy for business class travel? Mine is that anyone can book business above a 4 hour flight, and partners can waive that and book anytime but it’s frowned upon to always do it. I saw a partner from another firm flying on an 8 hour flight in coach and was surprised so curious how other companies handle it.

I think ours is 5 hours and above for partners. For local travel, you can upgrade at check-in if price is reasonable. Status may also help. Similar to OP: Reserving biz class for local travel when not needed does not seem right from a citizenship perspective.

I think for us it’s anything over 3 hours for P/MDs - and for directors/managers who meet an annual mileage threshold (i.e., frequent travelers).

Need some advice on renting here in ATX.

Back in May 2021, I rented a property that had sustained damage during the big snow storm. This wasn't disclosed at lease signing. The home leaked every time it rained, mold was found in the home & the LL failed to make repairs that resulted in me falling down a flight of stairs. I moved out& rented an apt for 2 mos before signing a lease on the house I live in now. This house has a serious big problem& I've found mold here too. Continued below

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

I joined pwc last month, and absolutely hating it here. Each weekend has been working, 12-15 hours work day is minimum expectation. And there's extreme hierarchy, where even after you spend 24 hours working on something, the director decides he wants something completely different and you delete and restart. (Note that you request them to review and give their pov earlier on, but they never take the time out)
