I just had my first behavioural interview with VCA for a Digital Consulting Manager role and the Dir said he was going to progress me to the next round.

I have never worked in consulting before, my background is all project management/marketing/advertising and I have an MBA. Wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the type of case questions they've been asked during their interviews for VCA.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

I have so many deadlines lined up and need to work over 15 hours each day. I am already burned out and have no motivation to work. Hey all, I’ve recently joined EY consulting from another Big 4 and have noticed there’s no discipline (at least in my team) around codes and charging time. People either charge a standard 7 hrs or some will charge time spent on internal activities to their client code.

I was told that “the last person to charge their actual hours worked was promptly booted off the project”.
