Filed for H1B extension, extension approved till aug-2024 (stamping not done), switched from tcs to infosys before stamping. I have new petition documents with me. Assuming infosys agrees to use my H1B, is there a possibility to file H1B transfer or reuse my visa.? Thanks

Mgmt consulting usually a proxy for high value add consulting (HVAC), meaning high bill rate consulting where client expects big impact and projects are bespoke. Strategy consulting is a subset of that, focused more on top line growth. However, the strategy consulting term is also often used as a proxy for high value add consulting.
Big 4 is not typically considered HVAC, but you’re welcome to call yourself whatever you’d like, hence the confusion about terms.
If you’re in it audit/risk that’s definitely not management consulting
Agree internal audit and IT audit is organized under business consulting. But it is not business consulting to a knowledgeable consulting person. If you say you audit and remediate controls that is assurance-based work. It’s like calling a dog a cat because you want it to be true, but everyone sees a dog no matter what you say.

Do you really get that diverse set of experiences? If so thats awesome that must mean you get to work across competent groups which is rare
Business Consulting is closer to Strategy Consulting, at least in my field
If in Enterprise Risk or a Tech Risk it’s audit. If TD&E it’s project management. If finance or supply chain then you can say management consulting as you are implementing a strategy.

Hmmm I’m doing sometimes PMO, sometimes finance implementation, sometimes regulation/reporting guidance
Both are terms invented by consultants in a vain attempt to elevate their perceived importance. If I’m a ‘strategy 💫’ consultant and you aren’t, that increases my perceived value because I’m part of a more select group (i.e. gatekeeping). Like P1 said, it’s based on HVAC or being high-value-add. The problem with that however is that HVAC is relative, it depends who you ask, so everyone is really just trying to increase the value of their own brand with no real set basis
