What was your favorite work memory / accomplishment of 2024? For me it was getting to travel to see many of the plants and learn from the teams.

That’s a great one! For me it was developing the finding basis for the project I’m working on

Nice!

This year one of my favorite things that happened was finding an informal mentor that helped me so much! It was great to have somebody that had been in similar positions they talked me through a lot and it was just great having an ear that understood what was going on.

That's great!

I wouldn’t say it is one thing but when I travel I love trying a bunch of new foods not on my dime and I find that to be really enjoyable. I also love seeing new places no matter how big or small and it’s enjoyable overall to me.

Nice!

Getting to see other facilities is always a good experience. For me, it was experiencing learning opportunities with my entire department. It was both helpful from a team-building standpoint and so we are coordinating the same type of project implementation.

Rough day in the office and in the mood for something that would toss me around and maybe hurt a little. Black peppercorn crusted bacon left on a smoker too long and covered in jam made from under-ripe red fruits. The 59% ABV is definitely present, and you can smell the peat smoke from across the room. The finish lasts for days. If you’re already into peated scotch but want to crank it up another level, the cask strength Laphroaigs can show you your limits. Hurts soooo good 😌

Merry Christmas!!! Check out what I got. I've been wanting to try the Talisker 10 year for a while now. The other two I haven't even heard of before. My Mom got me the Scotch set. My wife got me the bitters and it turns out they're from Raleigh, NC. I'm here in Charlotte. Pretty cool. I'll be sure to post when I drink them.
