What would be the equivalent of 4 YOE in industry? I feel like staff accountant is below while controller is above my level. How do you make that judgement because sometimes the job descriptions don’t mention the YOE or even details on day-to-day activities

Senior accountant, potentially lead if they offer that. Also depends on size/complexity/prestige of industry firm. Smaller private company you could push for a manager role.

Guys, I had very less HRA for April 2022 till August 2022. I was showing 1 lac annual rent .I joined new organisation in sept and now HRA is 43000 per month. Would that be okay to show high rent as 30000 per month to my wife as landlord. Earlier I was paying 9000 rs per month to different landlord. @ IBM

Two questions: 1) Am I required by IL or DE to apply for a limited in-house license? 2) Has anyone heard of similar situations where the atty got popped for UPL? I’m in tech transactions and would not go to court in this role or represent the company outside of contract negotiations.

Hi everyone,
I've been offered a position as a Consultant (M1 grade) at Deloitte London.
The package is 43k, which I find very little considering my 3YOE in consulting.
What do you suggest?

Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.
