Kia Soul or Hyundai Kona, reliable is Corolla.
Kia and hyundai are near impossible to insurance extremely easy to steal them. I woukd avoid those 2 cars
Something with a stick shift if you can find one. It’s a life skill and one that will require more focus on driving and less on phone.
I actually currently drive a 22 Honda Civic SI (Manual only) and since it’s one of the few stick shifts still manufactured it’s virtually lost none of its value. I saw a 2022 pre-owned at a dealer for the same price as its original MSRP. Kinda cool for a sporty economy car 😂
Something cheap (they will destroy it) and reliable. Japanese or Korean.
Oldsmobile
if you want to pamper them then lexus ls400 or ls460
Extra points if they can parallel park that or reverse into a parking spot without a camera
One that you can afford to wreck and replace.
He needs something old and cool like 1967 falcon, or a 1970 Pontiac lemans just like the GTO but little cheaper and easier to work on
I grew up in a rich town surrounded by spoiled rich kids. One kid got a new Mustang for his 17th birthday and drove it to school to show it off (like posing on it in front of the high school). The other rich kids made fun of him because it was automatic and not manual.
I drove a 2004 Chevy Cavalier I bought from my cousin and was grateful.
An Uber.
One they can afford working on their own! They'll appreciate it more
65 deville
Honda or Toyota Hyundai is not reliable Mitsubishi is also good one
Why buy something they can't maintain if youre trying to teach responsibility it would be defeated if you bought a land rover and now they requiring you to help with the payments if you catch my drift
Agree-I’ve been driving H&T for over forty years-financed new- paid them off and drive them for another decade- no kidding- we’ve had Ravs-4Runners and Tundras- I’ve purchased several used Hondas when the prices were right and drove those for years to keep mileage down on the newer ones. Don’t listen to the haters- you can’t go wrong with honda or Toyota (provided they weren’t severely mistreated). GL
My kid is starting to drive as well and so far the best type of car I found is one where it’s over 10 years old that has a high safety rating during its time, doesn’t need collision insurance, has a history of drivetrain reliability and you can find inexpensive parts for easily. Bonus points if you can find a manual transmission and the kid is willing to learn how to drive it.
Nissan Altima or especially a toyota camry
If any one can guid me what is the lowest price to insure young people around 22 years old?Tnx
Toyota Corrola or Honda
CIVIC
Something that will Keep Your Kid Safe- either Volvo, land rover or Subaru ( buy used from i.e, carmax, certified pre-owned dealer, or other car dealer)
Mazda 3 or 6 outta do it. Cheap (relatively speaking), durable, great gas mileage.
Toyota Corolla - any year. Great on gas ( more miles and not as expensive to fill up ). Barley has maintenance problems and if any, cheap to replace ( parts ).
2003 Honda accord
