Genesis gv70/80 top trim

Honestly the GX is the best all around family car/reliable/etc.
But the X5M comp is SICK and the TT V8 is glorious!
The X5MC will beat you up. Badly. Suspension is harsh af. GX is a big marshmallow in comparison (then again, all Lexuses are soft marshmallows)
Get a used Lexus LX, bigger and better than a GX, and you rarely see them on the road.
I have a 2019 GX and I’ve been looking for a used LX570 to replace it (the storage shrinks once you pull out the third row). These are the most underrated value SUVs you can own (despite the outrageous price tag) simply because they will last forever.
I looked at the GX but ended up going X5 instead with a 911 for weekends
BMW X3 M40 is the best for the money but they unfortunately now only make the 2025 and that’s up to you how you feel about the redesign. But the drivetrain is fantastic. Nearly 400hp and you’ll still get 24mpg combined (from experience)
CPO BMW X7 all day. Get the x50i motor if you can swing it.
Maintenance issues with European cars? I think that reputation is a little undeserving these days.
Don’t over think it, try a XC90 T8
Tires are cheaper if you don’t get the run flats. But yea big SUV performance tires are going to be expensive ($1000-1200 for 4) for all these vehicles
All 5 cars in family are german brands. But I’m not a fan of BMW new interior design! Lexus GX gets my vote.

Check out the Genesis GV70 or 80. The electric one is nice too if you are into that. When I was shopping around the Porsche and Maserati sales ppl both told me that the Genesis is the better car. I was looking at the Macan and Grecale. Love my GV70 best decision ever!!
Honestly the BMW X5 is a solid car, especially with the B58. If you maintain it properly, it'll last you a while.

Hyundai Palisade top trim
GX is amazing, but I would suggest driving it first. It is truck based so that gives it some unique driving characteristics
People on fishbowl will hate, but a top-trim Chevy Tahoe, if you want a couch on wheels. Maintenance costs will be lower than you think
You are right....if I throw a rock in my town it will hit a Tahoe or a Yukon.
We ordered the GX and really hated how it drove. It handled like a Chevy Silverado. We went with an Acura MDX and for the same price as a medium trim GX, got into the highest trim level Type S. Loved it since.
