How is a Partner’s sales bonus at your firm calculated? Also, what if multiple Partners have connections at the same client when a sale is made? How is the bonus fairly distributed?

As realtors, our worst and best friend are the contractors, being friends with the contractor that remodelled a home you are going to sell is a plus because you can know for sure what kind of improvements were made to the house and why; and what kind of things are pending to be improved, that way you can provide real information to the client. I need career advice. I have been an office admin for 7 years and want to pivot into project management. I have experience leading small projects. But I have limited experience handling complex projects involving many people. My long-term plan is to complete a PM cert program and hopefully find an entry-level position. However, my immediate need is to find a new job, ideally, one that would offer the opportunity to gain more project experience. Any suggestions?

Asking for advice- I’ve realized consulting is not the path for me long term and have had plans to quit. I’m currently staffed on a project alone and feel lost as I don’t have much experience in this line of work. Deadline is approaching and I have voiced my concerns to finish in time. Manager is still reviewing my work and the turnaround time to make revisions and finish phase 2 work seems unlikely within a few days. Is it unreasonable to ask for another resource to help finish?

Hi Everyone. I completed my 1 year in EY in October 2022. And in my profile, they have updated it to Senior Analyst now. But that was a progression that happens every year and I have not received the incremented salary.

Thoughts
