I’ve never done workers comp, but have done PI. PI is stressful in that the clients can be difficult, but it’s very lucrative and can be very interesting. I think there’s more variety in PI that makes the stress worthwhile.
In my state workers comp attorneys fees are largely controlled by statute. Maybe it’s different if you have a case that you appeal from the workers comp commission to the county court. But most cases seem to have a pittance of attorneys fees, whereas you can get some decent remuneration in PI. Both deal with injured clients and insurance companies, which both have their ups and downs, so I think I’d choose the more lucrative of the two.
Workers Comp is way less stressful
PI having done both. Workers comp has too many bs rules
