Schedule one thing at a time. The key is consistency and discipline, there are no secret tricks. Learn how to accurately gauge your progress and be realistic about how much you need to do and when. It's more lengthy than extremely difficult.

To use andrew Katz as a tutor he’s the best

No like he actually is. He has a following of thousands of ppl and gets ppl drastic score increases. Best investment I ever made

likefunny

It’s not as hard as some say, more about discipline and endurance. Make your schedule, schedule the exam, stick to it and don’t reschedule.

Yep, IMO anyway. I mean it’s not walk in the park you have to put in the time but at the end of the day it’s just another test. Best thing I did was took one without being ready because my NTS was about to expire anyway. Took the mystery out of it.

Once you make up you mind that you want the cpa just stick to it and you’ll get there!

The time commitment is the hardest part.

How much discipline and mental toughness it took. In addition, the importance of re-reviewing as I moved on the new material.

Wish I would have thought about when my exam would expire. I took my first in Dec and never thought I would pass. Now that I did I have two tax seasons in my 18 months

Wish I would have prepared before graduation rolled along. It is much easier if you have a plan of action.

Selecting the right study course

The homework is meant to teach you. At first, I was heavily discouraged getting 30s on the FAR MCQs after feeling like I understood the lecture. Really, you should be doing the questions and taking notes on them based on the explanations. Personally, I used snipping tool to place problems in Excel and work them so that all my notes were organized.

Hi Fishes, I've 2.25 Years of experience in SAP Basis, but I've lost interest in the same due to not receiving proper training, inability to practice on customer's system and shifts. I'm looking forward to go for MBA/changing technology, which one would be a better option? In case of the latter can you guys suggest lucrative technologies which has little/no coding and can definitely give good packages? I've tried changing jobs in Basis for nearly one year and didn't get through. Please help me.

For all the business/data analysts out there, do you ever feel like your job is draining you? Like it doesn't really make a difference, the work is really ambiguous or you never feel like you're doing a good enough job? I don't know if it would be different at another company, but I seriously don't understand why so many people are trying to break into this field. Maybe it just isn't for me.

For startup founders/people with a successful side project: How did you get the idea/inspiration for your business? Anybody else noticed recruiters are only proactively reaching out about hybrid/on-site roles nowadays?

It's almost as if people don't want to be in offices anymore so that's why it's difficult for them to fill those roles.
Sidenote: recruiters, you can see on my LI profile that I'm remote. In the "What jobs are you interested in" field you can see I'm only interested in remote roles.
So, why are you reaching out to me about jobs in a city 3 hours away that's 100% onsite and w/out even a ReLo?
