I'm conflicted and I honestly feel defeated. I started this job at a good foot, I negotiated the salary I wanted, which was of the higher tier. I killed it by being in the top 6 performers of my sales class. A year into the job, I get my first promotion by hitting my numbers. Felt proud of myself for a moment. Then I get an email saying I'll still get the promotion. But due to my higher starting salary (5k over the average) I won't get the pay raise of 3k. Is this right? "Here's your pizza!"
