What’s the best course to study for BEC? I have Becker but thinking of getting a new one.

Did anyone lateral into big law? First year in insurance litigation defense and I’m looking to see if it’s even possible to break into big law in a year or two

How hard is it to get into an investment bank for risk? Doing market risk related work (FRM)? And what kind of salary would you be looking at from entry to associate (senior) level ?

What are potential exit opportunities in commercial banking? Are the skills transferable to other roles in finance?

I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview,but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I often fail at some interviews badly.
Not sure till when I'll be able to carry forward by this and the hard wlb at FAANG companies is giving me a fear.

Foreign LLM student here. I plan to take the NY bar exam in February. I’m thinking of taking a bar prep course (most likely Barbri). They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. The difference in price is substantial – 2.5k for the traditional course vs 6k for the extended one. Any thoughts/recommendations on which one I should take? Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. Oh my god. I am finally done with the CPA. It took me 5 years and I failed so many times, lost credit, spent thousands of dollars on different study materials, coffees, pens, etc. I can’t believe this day has finally come for me. If you’re struggling please don’t give up and don’t compare yourself to someone else. It will eventually happen for you if you keep pushing!

CA shutting down prometric, just received an email that my December date is going to be canceled.
