Anyone here have any information on where to invest your money apart from the firm's 401k match? New to investing and wanted to know where do other people invest since most of them wouldn't be investing in stocks directly.

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). Any other first year associates feel like their firms don’t really appreciate how much COVID/WFH has stunted their development?
