This isn’t true. I applied for a job internally via my holdco, interviewed, got it, they paid for my visa and gave me a relocation budget and 6months later I was gone. I was a mid level with not many awards to my name.
It’s impossible unless you’re at a CD level or above (plus having an award loaded portfolio)
We have a jobs board for movement within the network, so I guess you could say it’s encouraged to an extent. I was quite open about wanting to work elsewhere so notified my bosses and our HR before even applying for the role. So everyone was aware and onboard with it. Then once it was confirmed I’d been selected, the two HR teams worked together to make it happen.
It’s certainly possible. But of course it will be easier in some circumstances than it is in others. Definitely worth pursuing regardless if it’s something you want to do, even if the answer ends up being no.
Donate a million dollars to a Presidential campaign and you’ll be awarded an ambassadorship.
The less experience you have the better 👍🏼
If I had a million dollars I wouldn’t be the masochist I am working in such a field
Hold co only transfer CD+ ppl to other countries, if not higher up. Best you can do is to get your own work visa and then start applying. For UK check out global talent visa for example.
Thank you! Literally just had a chat with an immigration company and they also said that this was the fastest streamlined process
Please name countries you applied to and got the job
If you have high profile work (work with some mid level celebrities) but no awards, can you still work abroad? Has anyone in this situation been successful?
