I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? ☝🏻👏🏻 well done!
A really really good account person global job high stress 350-400. A superb strategist but not head of the department maybe tops out around 250. Head of dept closer to 300 at a big agency. Creatives - famous 500k-1m. Creatives super solid but not famous top out around 250 to 300 in big consumer shop. Everyone else lower.
Well I started at $50k about five years ago so... $50k?
$350k (300 of that from selling 'caine)
Dang y'all! Giving a girl hope
My mom made 300k as an EVP/CCO at Grey10 years ago so I'd assume 450k now maybe?
What the fuck are these salaries? I'm in NYC and I'm maxing out at 200k. Some of y'all are delusional.
I made $350k in 2014 freelance. Not as much before or since.
$1 Mil base.
I push around 450k freelance
400, strategy, max in advertising.
Move client side, cmo - high 6 figures / mil+ if lucky
Personally, $200k but I've seen CCO make $500k and CEO earn $1MM* base. Takes a certain personality to make that.
AD1 if you are only making 300 from slanging the yayo, you have a problem
500K because I've seen it done.
Aww... wonder how much someone in ad ops can make
Start an agency.
Fuck I am not doing things right
150k
Max media salaries are sad in comparison
Freelancers have no insurance, 401k matching, paid days off or any other benefits to go along with - so be careful what u wish for. Cheers to all those who are doing it. From what I have seen and I have been doing this a while, if you are a managerial employee (clock in like everyone else) the most you can expect to make is about 300k + bonus. It’s all a function of your hourly billable rate. If you are at the corporate level (ceo, cmo. Etc) your pay remains about the same but your bonus can match your salary, stock options and whatever else I can get for delivering revenue and growth.
