1. I received a call from the recruiter to schedule a first interview.
2. The initial interview was with the recruiter. It was very scripted (for fairness, etc.). Most of the questions were just going down the job description and asking if I had experience in each of the areas.
3. I received an invitation to interview with the hiring manager. The interview was in person with the manager and a couple others. They also had to ask off a specific list of questions. Some were more aligned with the job but some were quite basic like how do you manage a heavy workload?
4. I received a verbal offer from the recruiter that did not include comp. We discussed my expectations but there was no commitment.
5. It took some time to receive the formal offer (probably 2 weeks or longer) since I had to have outside business activities approved first. Kind of odd. Then the background check probably took another 2 weeks or so.
Sure feel free to PM me
Generally you will have a sort of meet and greet with the recruiter and if they think you are a good fit for the role they will pass your info along to the hiring manager and you will interview with them. If they like you, they will usually give you an offer on the spot.
