After overhearing a lay-off that went very poorly, all I could think was, “Yea, I went hunting once. Shot the deer in the leg. Had to kill it with a shovel. Took about an hour.... why do you ask?”

Haven’t started my career yet since I start in August but I interned in Barcelona my junior summer and my boss threw me a going away party (bbq and SUP) while we were on the same paddle board and I was so scared to stand up bc of the waves and when I finally did, I accidentally hit her in the head with the stick and knocked her into the ocean. Thank goodness it was my last day

This sounds like a beginning of... never mind

Back in my industry days, I had a boss who made one of the buyers in the office water all the potted plants once a day so he could get rid of the contracted service to maintain the plants—quite a large building. So the buyer was not happy, thinking that it was demeaning to her as a professional. She saved her urine everyday to “water” the plants until there were no more living plants. True story.

Once, while discussing how to handle a challenging situation, my boss looked in the eye, and condescendingly remarked, “oh, right. You need to THINK."

My former boss used to make a really bad Asian accent impression in front of me, about my mom/grandma who I would sometimes take off early from work to take care of. I'm Asian.

Lol that’s not cool at all

In true Michael Scott fashion, my client tried to fake fire me today. (I'm a self employed consultant so he could fire me).

My client was an actual paper company and the VP that hired us was an idiot. He pretty much was Michael Scott. One of the clients also got put in the drunk tank one night and couldn’t make it to work next day. There were so many bad stories that came out of this project. If only I could go back and sit back with some 🍿

Please give us some more lol
