Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

Larsen & Toubro Infotech Is it good time to join Cognizant now for Coimbatore location considering too much attrition in recent times along with many policy changes and do they have enough projects or will there be any chance of layoffs if we don't find any projects for our skill(Tableau in my case)? I have another offer with LTI, Coimbatore for same salary but i prefer CTS more than LNT. Cognizant Larsen & Toubro Infotech

Topaz Farm on Sauvie has some awesome music nights and a big pumpkin patch. Walks through Forest Park when the leaves begin to change. Also enjoy having a weekly ish soup night with my friends and making mulled wines!
I am new here so I am going to have to add these plaes to my list. I absolutely loved going to the Pumpkin Patch back home! I'm sure this one is just as lovely.
Reed college / crystal springs with changing leaves! Going wine tasting in willamette valley (red season is on!) Hood River fruit loop / harvest festival. And watching the swifts at Chapman School - really incredible!
Topaz farm is great. Definitely try to go before it gets rained on though!
I am adding this to my list. I still have not been there but I have heard really great things.
Venture out of town (I live in the South Metro). There's lots of farmland, rolling hills, rivers to make a picturesque drive. We don't have kids, but watching families at the pumpkin patches and buying fall decor or stupid little gourmet foods, etc. is fun to us. I always stock up on local honey this time of year (helps with the sore throats that come during winter).
There are also a few surprisingly good restaurants like La Rambla in McMinnville or Filbert's down towards Oregon City (I think; not sure cuz we found it by accident). Just get in the car and drive! See what happens.
Oh! If you eat meat, you must go down to Mt Angel Sausage Company for German sausages, etc. Pig out there and buy frozen stuff to cook at home.
Also, out to Lincoln City to Mr. Bill's Smokehouse for the best jars of tartar sauce & cocktail sauce you will find anywhere. The smoked salmon spread is great, too. Both of these destinations are great day trips. Lincoln City is a very nice weekend getaway, too. In fact, if in the Lincoln City area, go to Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay and order the scallops or the crab stuffed cod if they have it.
These are so good! For a colder/rainier activity I like to go to the society hotel in NW and read a book by the fireplace in the lobby. They have a bar there so having wine with it is nice too.
Going to Powell’s and spending a few hours there is nice (see a theme? 🤪)
Getting back into working out is very helpful in Fall for my mental health.
Definitely agree on walks in forest park! Would add on that Silver Falls in Salem is STUNNING in Fall.
Oooh I love this idea, might have to steal it for myself!
I have a group of foodie friends and we try one new place a month. It’s really fun and great company.
Hi there! Mine's the Corn Maize on Sauvie Island. I also love doing fall hikes and it's just the best!
