Right now I am going for a call with HR
If they ask do I have any offer in my hand then what should I answer them
Will HR ask for the offer latter which I have?
Fact - I don't have any offer in hand right now

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

How does search work at McKinsey? If it’s up to x weeks paid to find a job, how will they know if I’ve already accepted an offer? I’m trying to strategically declare search so I can have a backup offer and use my time to find something better, but I want to make sure that I don’t get in trouble lol. Culturally this is slightly odd for me since I come from a place where u needed to have pretty strong credentials to get hired and people at the top had them too, if not better. Wondering if this is just skewed view due to the practices I’m exposed to or is actually common in the big 4?
