Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Try sitting in a restaurant eating and the general Manager whom i have known for 4 years comes up to you and offers you a job to start on Friday and its Tuesday.
I was interviewed by foxconn in a vacant mall store. Everything in there was like stuff they found at goodwill.
I was once interviewed in a storage room. It was full of random stuff apparently left behind by the failed startup which had previously rented the space.
Home Depot parking lot for me. I'd been job hunting for months without hearing anything, finally got an interview request for that day, then when I was out shopping, the recruiter called to say there was a schedule conflict and wanted to know if there was any way I could do the interview sooner. I didn't want to reschedule and risk it, so I said yes, and sooner turned out to be 15 minutes from when they called. Figured it was better and safer to do it in the parking lot than on the road, so I did it parked outside the garden center. Got the job too.
