One thing about LinkedIn to remember that Sturgeon's Law not only applies, it's a bit optimistic.
Because you have to remember when someone messages you for a position, sometimes it’s something you haven’t done before.
Yep, I especially love it when you ask them for a JD, or provide a resume after that and then they ghost you. In my mind, recruiter table stakes should be: 1. share the JD immediately 2. is it remote/hybrid/onsite 3. pay range (it’s not a DoD secret, cough it up), and 4. how many potential interview rounds are there (and don’t lie about it). The few human recruiters left thought either have no idea what they’re doing and/or play games.
